Where precision meets care
About me
I work across disciplines and industries. Specialised in complex, regulated environments where experience shapes trust.
I design end to end: discovery, service blueprints and journey mapping, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing and design systems. Accessibility is built in from day one, never retrofitted. My aim is always to leave teams more capable than I found them, with documentation, patterns and confidence to carry the work forward.
I hold a Nielsen Norman Group UX Master Certification and am a LUMA Institute–certified human-centred design practitioner. These ground my practice in proven methods, though experience has taught me that methods matter less than judgement. Knowing which tool to use, when to push and when to listen comes from years of doing the work.
Today I work through my consultancy, partnering with government agencies, financial institutions and ambitious startups. I work as an embedded team member, a strategic adviser or an end-to-end design lead, depending on what the work needs.

Questions answered.
01
What government experience do you have?
I’ve worked on Australian government digital transformation programs as a Service Designer with IP Australia and the department of Health through Aged care, designing services that millions of citizens rely on. That work has ranged from early discovery and policy-to-service design through to delivery with multidisciplinary teams. I understand the constraints of government work, including legislation, legacy systems, accessibility obligations and ministerial timelines, and I design services that work within them.
02
What’s your broader design background?
I’m a senior UX, UI and HCD/Service designer with more than 15 years’ experience across government, banking and digital finance. I’ve designed for Commonwealth Bank, Standard Chartered, Macquarie, AMP, Deloitte Digital and Binance, as well as DeFi protocols. I hold a Nielsen Norman Group UX Master Certification and am a LUMA Institute–certified human-centred design practitioner. Working in complex, high-trust, heavily regulated environments is my speciality, and that experience carries directly into public sector work.
03
How do you meet the Digital Service Standard and accessibility requirements?
Accessibility and user research are part of the process from the start, not checked at the end. Designs are tested against WCAG 2.2 AA, aligned with the Digital Service Standard, and documented so they hold up in service assessments and audits.
04
Can you work within our existing team and governance?
I embed with APS teams and delivery partners, working within your methodology, governance gates and reporting cycles. I’ve worked with C-level executives at AMP Financial Services through Deloitte Digital and with global banking stakeholders at Standard Chartered. I bring that same approach to government: aligning senior leaders, policy owners and frontline staff around evidence, not opinion. The goal is to build internal capability, not dependency, so your team can carry the work forward.
